WHY ALOKA?

Aloka (आलोक) is a Sanskrit word meaning illumination, brightness or radiance — it symbolises knowledge, clarity and the dispelling of darkness.

While living in Sri Lanka, locals would often mistake Georgia’s son’s name, Arlo, for “ALOKA”. When she asked what it meant, they described it simply as:

“bringing light where there is no light.”

An idea that stayed with her, and eventually came to reflect the heart of ALOKA — illuminating health by bringing light to where it’s needed most.
